Okay, I just got back from seeing *Chrono-Shift* and my mind is officially blown.

I need to talk to someone about this because my partner is just sitting there saying “it was okay,” and I’m about to lose it. That ending. . .

what even was that I went in epecting cool time travel and laser fights, which, to be fair, it had. The first two acts were a blast. But that final 30 minutes It completely rewired my brain.

The whole plot with the 731 Protocol—this in-universe rule that you can’t change a “fied point” in time without reality collapsing—and the main character realizing SHE was the cause of the initial disaster all along I did not see that coming.

I sat through the entire credits just trying to process it. And it’s not just me, right I’ve been scrolling through social media and the theories are already flying.

Some people are saying the little girl she saved in the beginning is actually her own grandmother, which would create a parado so huge it would break the universe.

Others think the 731 Protocol is a lie created by the Time Council to maintain control.

I spent like an hour reading these threads and it just makes my head hurt more, but in a good way This is what I love about a good movie.

It gives you a complete story, but it also leaves you with these massive questions that you just have to talk about. It’s been a while since a film stuck with me like this.

The last time I felt this way was probably after watching *Inception* for the first time and arguing with my friends about whether the top fell over or not.

What did you all think I’m desperate to hear other opinions.

* **The 731 Protocol:** Do you think it’s a real law of physics in their world, or is it just a political tool The way the Council members looked at each other when it was mentioned felt super shady to me.

* **The Ending:** Was it a dream, a new timeline, or was she trapped in a loop When she picked up the locket at the very end and it was warm. . .

that has to mean something, right * **The Director’s Style:** The director, Ale Vance, is known for this kind of mind-bendy stuff, but this feels like his most ambitious project yet.

The visuals when reality was glitching out were terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Seriously, I can’t stop thinking about this movie.

It’s one of those films where you notice new details every time you watch it. I might just have to go see it again this weekend. Please tell me I’m not the only one who feels this way!

Let’s discuss everything down below.
